Motorcycle transport Bangkok – Chiang Mai

Bangkok to Chiang Mai is the classic move for riders heading north for the cool season or shipping a bike ahead of the Mae Hong Son loop. The truck follows the central plains corridor through Nakhon Sawan and Tak rather than the mountain passes — easier on your bike than riding it up Highway 106.

In short: we collect your motorcycle at the door in Bangkok or Chiang Mai, strap it with soft loops in a covered truck, photograph it at both ends, and deliver it to the address on the other side — both directions, all bike sizes.

Pickup areas

Where we collect and deliver

Bangkok

condo car parks and street pickups across Sukhumvit, Sathorn, Ratchada, Lat Phrao and On Nut, plus dealerships and workshops in greater Bangkok, Nonthaburi and Samut Prakan.

Bangkok is the hub of all three of our loops, so it has the most frequent pickup windows on the network.

Chiang Mai

the Old City, Nimman, Santitham, Chang Phueak, Hang Dong and San Sai, plus bike shops along the Canal Road.

Chiang Mai is the northern end of our network — the classic drop-off before riding the Mae Hong Son loop or the Golden Triangle.

Good to know

Bangkok – Chiang Mai questions

Is it better to ride Bangkok–Chiang Mai or ship the bike?

Many customers ship the bike and fly, especially in the rainy season or when the bike is newly bought and unfamiliar. Shipping also saves the 700 km motorway stretch that most riders find tedious before the good northern roads begin.

Can you deliver to a guesthouse or bike shop in the Old City?

Yes. Old City sois are narrow for a truck, so for some addresses we agree a nearby meeting point — for example a gate car park or your bike shop on the Canal Road.

Will the straps damage my paint or suspension?

This is the most common fear we hear, and it is fair — badly strapped bikes do get damaged in this industry. We use soft loops at the handlebars and frame so ratchet hooks never touch paint, the front wheel sits in a chock, straps are kept clear of the exhaust, and we do not crank the suspension fully down. Moving blankets go between bikes on shared loads.

How much does it cost to transport a motorcycle in Thailand?

It depends on the route, the size of the bike and how far the pickup and delivery addresses sit from our corridors. Message us on WhatsApp with your bike model and the two locations and you get a written quote — the price you see is the price you pay.
